Wood to Metal . How about Metal to Metal ?

Today we started to nail the metal sheets to the plywood. First we nailed it between the plywood. 

Then we attached the other metal sheets for the sides. And fixed the nails into it. We did nothing 

much today because we are thinking on how to attach each metal. So we are disturb by our problem.

We planned to sander it next meeting and apply wood glue or filler.

Fixing What We Messed Up

  Today, we fixed what we messed up yesterday. We used the jigsaw to cut new part 

to replaced the old ones. We used the hammer drill for the holes and the bench grinder

 to remove the heads of the nail we also used the wood glue to strengthen the wood. ~Jed

Meanwhile two of the Transformers were working in the metals sheets’ part. Arlson Steven was 

writing the guidelines of the cutting list while Diony Jay was cutting the drawn lines in the metal sheet.

He used the metal snips for cutting. 

TIP: Don’t Forget to used Protective Gears like gloves & goggles.

Learning : Sharing of work is important to finish the work quickly.

Let's Begin

Finally, we started our artefact. Today, we worked on the base. We 

brought a plywood with the dimensions of 10” x 15” and the smaller 

one is 7” x 15”. So first we used the bench drill to make holes for the

nails for the pieces to be assembled. Next we used the bench grinder to

remove the “heads” of the nails to be used for the assemble of the wood.

Then as we assemble it, we apply wood glue. The we gently hammered 

it. Then after that we used the plainer to straighten the sides of the base 

but sadly be messed up one the second try as we used the plainer,we 

made our artefact change its looks. Hopefully we will do it much better 

tomorrow.
